On January 29, 2021, Censia received the ISO 27001:2013 certification for its Information Security Management System (ISMS). ISO 27001 is an information security standard published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and certifies that Censia’s data is sufficiently protected. The certification is valid for three years and is maintained through scheduled audits.
Terry Gotowka, Head of Customer Support and Business Operations at Censia, led the certification process and shared the following: “Obtaining ISO certification is a demanding process, but Censia’s ongoing commitment to data privacy and information system security made the process seamless. We have a history of rigorous staff training, and moving through this process made me incredibly proud to work for such a top-notch organization.”
As part of the 27001:2013 certification process, an independent auditor examined and confirmed that Censia is sufficiently protected against information security risks. It also confirmed that Censia had implemented a comprehensive suite of information security controls and the management process to maintain them.
Censia is committed to providing the highest possible levels of security. In addition to being ISO 27001:13 certified, Censia is GDPR-ready, and CCPA Compliant. For more information on Censia’s data security, please visit www.censia.com/security.
