Joanna Riley is a seasoned tech entrepreneur, thought leader on the future of work, and a strong supporter of women in technology and female-led startups. Her mission at Censia is to unlock the full potential of the global workforce by giving companies access to sophisticated and ethical system intelligence and the most comprehensive and actionable people data available 

Joanna has been named to the Forbes Next 1000 list, received a 2021 Silver Stevie® Award for Female Entrepreneur of the Year, and was awarded the Most Powerful and Influential Women Award by the California Diversity Council. 

Joanna currently sits on the Board of Directors for Young Presidents Organization (SF Bay Chapter) and is an active angel investor in early stage companies. She sits on the Advisory Boards of CerraCap Ventures, Veterati, Perksy, DroneShield Ltd, and is a mentor at Singularity University and Founder.

Tim Johnson

Chief Operating Officer

Tim is a highly experienced and tenured sales professional with a track record of success selling SaaS solutions into some of the most challenging and influential companies around the globe. Tim was one of the initial enterprise hires at Marketo, a SaaS marketing automation company that during Tim’s tenure, scaled from 50 employees to over 1,200, saw revenue growth in the enterprise division from 1M ARR to over 120M ARR, and was a prominent member of the go-to-market team that saw the company through a successful $1B+ IPO. After Marketo Tim joined a SaaS startup (EverString) as one of the initial founding business members in the predictive analytics and AI space for sales and marketing. Tim was a key member of the team that helped the company raise a $12M Series A and 15 months later a $65M Series B round, both the largest in the sector at the time, led by Lightspeed Ventures.

Tim joined Censia as one of the initial executive team members after joining 1-Page in January of 2017. Tim has a passion for consultative selling and helping complex organizations leverage cutting edge technology and best practices to optimize performance and process improvement. Tim has a firm belief that talent is a firm’s greatest asset and the way that organizations find and asses top talent is broken but also represents the greatest leverage point for explosive growth, innovation, and process optimization. Tim joined Censia because the mission of the company and its leadership is 100% aligned with the passion in his own life, helping professionals, customers, and employees be the best versions of themselves.

Monica Bua

President, Executive Intelligence

Monica is the President of Executive Intelligence at Censia. She brings more than two decades of retained search experience in finding, assessing, and developing the leadership that transforms companies and speeds them toward their goals. She’s a thought leader and a proven partner who helps world-class companies navigate even the most challenging times in innovation and an ever-evolving talent landscape. She’s a change driver with a passion for building inclusive teams.

She shares the vision and determination of Fortune50, top-tier private equity and venture capital-backed enterprises to succeed. She’s well-versed in addressing the needs of emerging products, enabling them with the talent they need to thrive. Monica is continually called upon to build executive teams around disruptive and next-generation product strategies and launches. She is an expert in executive assessment and has conducted hundreds of C-level assignments, developing CEO succession plans, and is well known for her strategic partnership and hiring entire C-suites.

Monica is an avid Angel Investor in early-stage emerging technology companies, leading multiple series A through F fundraising rounds. She is a Limited Partner at Mighty Capital, an early-growth Silicon Valley venture capital firm. Monica is also on the Board of Advisors for Censia.

Earlier in her career, Monica was an international recruiter for Trilogy Inc.’s Paris office and in marketing for CollegeHire.com. At Trilogy, Monica designed a successful global recruiting program throughout Scotland, England, Ireland, Spain, and Switzerland. As a founding member of CollegeHire.com, she led the company’s national marketing campaign.

Monica holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and an Advanced International Management certificate. She graduated from Boston College, cum laude, with a BA in Human Development.

Burges Karkaria

Chief Technology Officer

Burges is a seasoned Entrepreneur and Silicon Valley technologist, bringing more than two decades of experience to Censia as its Chief Technology Officer. Before joining Censia, he served as CTO of Enterprise at Intel, where he developed the long-term technology strategy for the company’s HR, Marketing , Sales, Supply Chain, Legal and Finance departments. He has also led Intel’s Digital Supply Chain and ran GTM and enablement for  Intel’s portfolio of organic startup businesses.  

Burges is also an early investor and advisor to several startups including RoboCuisine and SaaSteps. He is a prolific innovator holding several patents, an industry thought leader and invited speaker. He is also grateful to help shape the future as an industry advisor at several universities, including Reading University and UNLV.    

Tracey Tink

Chief Customer Officer

Tracey is a passionate, forward-thinking leader with 25+ years of expertise leading customer and employee experience. She is an advocate, mentor, and dedicated coach who aims to inspire people to become the best version of themselves, personally and professionally.

Prior to Censia, Tracey has successfully led various teams to implement and drive customer-centric strategies that focus on the customer experience first, while managing scale and efficiencies across organizations. She strongly believes that equipping businesses with the best tools to create a world-class employee experience, from hiring through to retention and offboarding, is the key to success.

Tracey believes that knowledge is power and that empowered people can accomplish anything. She currently sits on the Board of Directors as President for Lake Ridge Community Support Services (LRCSS). Lake Ridge’s mission is to provide all individuals with the opportunity to reach their unique potential.

Bruce Cooper

Chief Engineering Officer

Bruce has been involved with Technical Program Management for over 20 years across software vendors, large institutions and start-ups. Bruce has spent the majority of his time focused on constructing and optimizing technical systems oriented to generate new revenue streams. Bruce has a passion for building, whether it be teams, software, policy or infrastructure. Bruce has served in numerous executive roles including CTO, COO, Director of Trading Technology, and Director of Product Management.

Bruce joined Censia to empower society with a better workforce paradigm where talent is matched appropriately to roles.
